Motor' is a label for occasional, ‘experimental’ wines in small batches. To quote Francesc, “Motor is the R&D of 4 Kilos, a line of wines under the same name which allows us to investigate new and old ways of vinifying using different materials – clay, wood, cement … in the search for the Mediterranean identity of our terroir.” The viticulture is described as “organic, rational, minimum intervention.” These are entirely unsulphured, and are fermented about a month in small local clay vats before ageing in larger cement tanks for a while.
