The first of the ‘Plot’ or ‘Parcellaire’ wines that sees Adrien and the team dig deep into their varied terroir in order to capture the essence of the sites in the bottle. Les Vignes De Nuit is 100% Chardonnay, planted in 1972 grown on a gentle slope just outside the village of Fèrebrianges.
45% of the base wine is fermented in old traditional 228 litre Burgundian barrels and aged for several months before tirage.

The wine was disgorged after 5 years on lees and is bottled with minimal dosage. A concentrated and powerful wine, but a wine that is bound together with incredible tension and focus. The wine is alive, ethereal, tightly wound and a wonderful example of what can be achieved with Chardonnay when it is grown in the right place and treated in the right way in the cellar.- Adrien Bergère
