A. Christmann Gimmeldinger ‘Schlössel’ 2020
Since 1996, the winery has been run by Steffen Christmann in the 7th generation. In 2004, the Christmanns finally committed themselves to biodynamic cultivation. The goal is to produce wines that are a reflection of the vineyard, taste like it and could not be produced anywhere else in the world. In harmony between vine, vineyard and winemaker, great wines of high individuality are created. The ideal conditions in the traditional Palatinate Mittelhaardt, warm enough for full-bodied wines and cool enough for elegance and a fine minerality, form the basis. In particular, the Grossen Lagen Idig, Meerspinne im Mandelgarten, Langenmorgen and Reiterpfad-Hofstück produce Grosse Gewächse that are consistently among the best in Germany.
