Winemaker Simone Adams has discovered that a small strip of vines, which stands at the upper end of the Sonnenhang vineyard in Rheinhessen, possesses a very special quality. Therefore, she vinifies them for herself, under the name Auf dem Haun. Before the grapes even reach the cellar, Simone Adams has carefully examined the vines in the field, so that the grapes achieve the optimum quality. The leaves on the bunch are cut away so that they get as much sunlight as possible and the bunches are reduced in size so that the remaining grapes get the highest possible quality.

When the must finally reaches the winery, it must develop for 12 months in used oak barrels before Simone Adams is satisfied with the quality of his Spätburgunder.

The result is a Spätburgunder wine that balances perfectly between the intense and the elegant. Red, ripe berries flow over the palette, and if you serve it chilled, you have an extravagant experience waiting for you. This is as juicy as it is silky.
