Rocca's Moscato d'Asti comes from 2.5 hectares of 30 year old vines in commune of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio in Barbaresco. So not a typical source and the mature vines and limestone-rich soil here combine to a more than handy example of Moscato, built on energy and texture rather than simple fruitiness. The 2019 offers fabulous perfume and savoury freshness to go with the expected, generous and fleshy texture.
