Thanks to its built heritage, the hamlet of Blagny is a magnificent place. It is a remarkable reminder of the link between the Cistercian monks and our vineyards. The appellation forms a cirque at the top of the slopes. A few years ago, I used to come running to this magical setting to recharge my batteries. The wine lives up to its history. Intense, powerful and long on the palate. It has all the hallmarks of a great Meursault with the finesse and complexity of Puligny-Montrachet.
