Aged on lees for 11 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak barriques. Bright pale straw to straw colour with glimpses of green around the edges and a watery hue. Escaping from the glass are pronounced ripe peach, honeycomb and crème brulee followed by some bacon fat, citrus and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate features nectarine and citrus flavours over those of roasted almonds, light honeycomb and spice. Finishes with a dash of citrusy freshness on the elegant mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
