We maintain a small library of back vintage bottles in our cellars for release at a later date. We select wines that will benefit from some extended maturation. Bannockburn Shiraz is generally a great candidate for long term bottle ageing.

A cooler year has given this wine a lighter, brighter profile than some vintages, and it’s ageing beautifully. Still showing plenty of pop and energy, with snappy acidity, savoury spice and a gentle, resolved structure. The fruit is fresh and lifted, framed by earth and pepper, with just enough maturity to soften the edges. A vibrant, quietly complex expression of Bannockburn Shiraz, holding up with real charm.
