The Curse refers to the daily routine that the historic workers of this region faced to make a living in the remote, high-altitude, rocky vineyards east of Madrid.

Bodegas Cinco Leguas is the evolution of La Maldición. Marc Isart began this personal project with the dream of producing thirst wines, wines to give pleasure and quench thirst, from vineyards less than 5 Leagues from the town, destined by royal decree for centuries to the inhabitants of Madrid.
