Bodegas Patrocinio Zinio Tempranillo Red
This beautiful Spanish wine is purple in colour, with a violet high layer that's very intense and concentrated. It's clean and bright with a nose that's enveloping with fruit aromas such as blackberries, currants and red fruits that appear along with floral aromas and liquorice, which is so characteristic of the Tempranillo variety. On the palate it showcases pure fruit thanks to the maturity at the time of harvest. It's fresh with soft and well tamed tannins, leaving us with an aftertaste of red fruit and liquorice.
Zinio Bodegas was founded in 1986. In the same year, the winery was registered within the DOCa Rioja apellation. Owners are 200 local farmers who formed this cooperative winery with the aim of jointly marekting their entire grape production. Located in Uruñuela in the heart of Rioja Alta subzone, all the vineyards are situated in a privileged area for growing quality grapes thanks to its favorable microclimatic conditions and soils.
