Bordiga Elisir Sambuco is a liqueur produced using the finest distillates of elder flowers and berries. Its characteristic aromatic scent gives a pleasant sensation of freshness. Elisir are typical liqueurs of popular culture, with a low alcohol content, where the difference lies in the genuineness and fine quality of the raw materials always used in Bordiga for their preparation. Bordiga is in fact a very special distillery, specialising in rigour and respect for tradition. Its strong point is the alpine medicinal herbs still harvested by hand and dried at high altitudes by mountain people in an unspoilt environment. This means that the botanicals used are wild. They are harvested without the aid of engines, without pesticides, fertilisers, fungicides and, above all, with enormous attention to product quality while respecting the environment. Each production, just as in the past, is totally conditioned by the changing seasons and variations in climate. Once harvested, the herbs are meticulously checked by the Master distillers who deliver only the best for processing.
