Poached plum, cassis, and black cherry aromas may be detected in a deeper-pitched nose. The fine-grained tannins that shape the well-balanced, lengthy, and pleasingly complex conclusion give the appealingly textured medium weight flavours a refined mouthfeel. Note that while the mid-palate is flexible enough to let this to be enjoyed while one is younger, it is sufficiently structured to justify a decade of cellaring.
