Brandini Barolo DOCG R56 2015
A great Barolo vintage, that was certain in 2015. Rather warm, consistently sunny and dry, but with enough precipitation in winter, which ensured sufficient moisture in the soil for a long time and thus a balanced vintage. Intense nose of dried fruits and pickled sour cherries. In addition, a lot of roasted aromas with chestnuts, coffee beans and Brazil tobacco. On the palate, with all the power and all the tannin, there is very nice fruit: lots of wild berries and prunes. High acidity, fine-grained tannins that take many years to polish off. A lot of potential. Supplied in a wooden box of 6.
