The grapes used to craft Mistelle Fortified Chardonnay were fortified with spirit and matured for a few years in old French as well as American oak barrels to develop complex fruit characteristics. This enticing Fortified Chardonnay features a bright yellow colour with golden hues highlighting the edges. The attractive bouquet releases refreshing aromas which intermix with light citrus characters to provide lushness to the palate. The finale is sweet and satisfying. This delicious dessert wine has been crafted to enjoy upon release but medium term cellaring will help in developing complex flavours. It tastes excellent served chilled either as an aperitif or paired with desserts.
