Matured in older oak barrels for 16 months with a dash of Grenache included in the blend. Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas are accompanied by vanillin oak, earthy fennel and spice notes. Plump and juicy the palate is richly fruited with dark plums and liquorice which overlay a dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spicy earth back drop. Velvet smooth tannins finishing long and opulent.
