The Barbaresco Ovello by Carlo Giacosa is an important and austere red wine, produced only in the best vintages with selected Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Ovello cru in Barbaresco municipality. This Barbaresco has a beautiful intense garnet red color and in the nose it expresses a broad and composite bouquet, with spicy and fruity notes, on which stand out hints of cherry and black cherry. In the mouth it is dry, full, well balanced, with excellent structure abd important tannins.
