The Chambers estate was founded in the year 1858 in Victoria’s revered Rutherglen region. Five generations of the Chambers family have worked hard with passion and dedication to build Chambers’ reputation to a level that is appreciated around the world. The Mt. Carmel Liqueur is a deep purple coloured wine named after the local convent that overlooks the company’s vineyards in Rutherglen. This blend was crafted using Shiraz grapes from old vines and Touriga grapes from low-yielding grapevines. The result is an exquisite wine blend featuring blackberry and cassis scents on the nose, while the mellow and flavour-filled palate displays balanced acidity and a powerful structure. It tastes marvellous served with nuts, dark chocolate and fresh cheeses.
