Château Bastor-Lamontagne are one of the few Châteaux that demand attention that fall out of the two tierd classification system in Barsac/Sauternes. This allows the luscious dessert wine to be a little more approachable. Still picked by hand froma blend of mostly Semillon followed by Sauvignon Blanc, Bastor-Lamontagne from the 2005 exhaulted vintage is a wine that should be enjoyed with the very best cheese and the very best of company.
