The strength of Cheval Blanc lives unquestionably in its inimitable terroir, where Cabernet-Franc expresses itself wonderfully. Nearly 50% of some bottles are Cabernet-Franc. It brings freshness and tension and balances out the Merlot that brings fruitiness and alcohol. Cheval Blanc is one of the most concentrated Saint-Emilion. It takes between 15 and 25 years of maturing for it to be at its peak. It is graceful, a texture that brings it closer to the biggest Pomerol wines.
