What does Château Haut-Monplaisir conjure up in our glass? A sulphur-free organic wine in the trendy colour red! The complicated thing about such wines is that they literally demand everything from the winemakers: endurance, trust, craftsmanship, experience, forbearance, patience, love. And so the Château here produces "L'Envie", a perfect wine that almost left us speechless. So much aroma, such a great deep red colour and then this multifaceted appearance on the palate. Lots of dark berries, sandalwood, cherries, the best tannins and a bright-sounding finish that lingers for a wonderful time.
