Château La Negly Domaine La Negly Le Pavillion 2021

Dark ruby-red. On the nose, the wine shows a great complexity with notes of red ripe fruit, raspberry, cassis and a touch of spice, black pepper and cinnamon. The palate is round and generous, tannins are silky and perfectly balanced, with notes of liquorice on a very long and elegant finish.

Ideal with grilled meats this is one of JN's most popular great value wines whose lowly price belies a wine of elegance and quality.

Domaine de Boede is a 25 hectare property close to Chateau de la Negly. Made at Chateau de la Negly by the same exceptional team of winemakers Didier Lacreu and Claude Gros Domaine de Boede receives the same careful treatment accorded to the Negly wines.

The vineyards are in the La Clape AOP close to the Mediterranean with soils of weathered sandstone gravel and chalk. The grapes Syrah and Cinsault are hand harvested hand-sorted and rigorously selected at the sorting table. The grapes grapes are macerated for five days before fermentation. The Cinsault is aged in stainless steel while the Syrah ages in wood.
