Château Pontet-Canet is a large estate located in Pauillac, a Bordeaux premium right-bank village. Organic and biodynamic since 2004, the 81-hectare Estate vineyard borders those of Mouton Rothschild and is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (63%) Merlot (32%), and Cabernet Franc (5%). The Bordeaux Wine Official Classification classifies Pontet-Canet as a 5ème Cru Classé.

On the nose, there's an intense aroma of tobacco leaf, cigar box, and mint; on the palate, it's powerful and tight, with creamy blackcurrants and robust tannin, exquisite complexity, and a long aftertaste.
