Chateau Poujeaux, Moulis-en-Médoc 2012
The 2012 Poujeaux has a very subtle note with dark cherries, plum and even a touch of marmalade. It is well defined and the oak is well judged in its supporting rather than starring role.
The palate is medium-bodied with gently gripping tannins. I like the acidity here, lending a keen edge to the finish. It feels long and confident on the mouth. This is a successful, delicious Moulis from the Cuvelier family.
