After the driest summer on record for Tasmania, the 2024 harvest was early right across the state. We started in the Coal River at Killara Farm on the 12th of March. The dry ‘El Niño’ conditions throughout the growing season, meant there was no disease pressure and generally very good conditions for ripening. The resulting 2024’s have more flesh and structure than the previous couple of years. Providing great early drinking plus the depth of flavour to age well. Overall, an excellent vintage for Tasmanian Pinot Noir!
