The name of this vintage is Scipio, which takes its inspiration from one of Cicero's famous works entitled "De Republica". The conclusion of this work, called "The Dream of Scipio", deals with various themes such as hedonism, the origin of life and the imperishable heritage. This reference is found asleep under the blue oak of the bottle label.

Scipio is the fruit of many years of growing the Mourvèdre grape variety at altitude. This grape variety requires a more temperate climate to ripen late. Despite the difficulties, the roots held firm and this blended grape turned out wonderful. To guarantee perfect harmony of the different elements of the wine, we made the decision to keep it for four years before marketing it. The result is a rich, velvety scent with nuances of red fruits and spices.

Scipio goes perfectly with red meat, grilled vegetables, cheese or Mediterranean cuisine dishes. For optimal tasting, it is recommended to decant it several hours in advance and serve it at room temperature or slightly chilled. This wine can be stored for 12 years.
