Brought to you by a couple of the exquisite minds behind Clos Figueras, Anne Cannan—daughter to wine exporter Christopher Cannan, and Miquel Compte, comes this passion project located in Montsant, just outside of Priorat. The vines are sourced from the Pinyana area of Montsant, where Miquel’s family owned vines, a place of rustic beauty with verdant forests covering jagged rocky formations. It is easy to see what inspired this project. Miquel is in charge of viticulture while Anne is in charge of winemaking. Their focus is red and white Grenache from old vines; French in style, but distinctly Montsant.

This white blend is sourced from 40 year old vines from relatively high altitude. The wine is fermented in both French oak casks and stainless. Grenache Blanc and a touch of Chardonnay come together for a white that has floral, salinity, and a round texture that needs food.
