The Pinot from Commune of Buttons is from 0.5 hectares of Pinot Noir from the Clover vineyard east facing slope. Post hand harvest the grapes were sorted, then destemmed with 10% whole bunches. Maceration was for 3 weeks followed by elevage for 11 months in a single 1800L Foudre. The wine is bright, acid driven and red fruited with cherries and spice on the nose, it has a dark bramble core with a generous mid pallet.
