This rhum originates from the Saint Aubin Distillery. The Saint Aubin distillery is the pioneer of pure cane juice rum in Mauritius. Launched in 2003, the estate cultivates 750 hectares of sugar cane, the majority of which is red cane and entirely hand-cut.

Nose: A powerful, camphorated nose with hints of almonds, petrol, candied prunes, mirabelle plums and bananas. Very expressive and aromatic.
Mouth: Woody, spicy, notes of menthol, cocoa, passion fruit, and a touch of rancio usually found in old cognac.
Finish: The bitterness and the roasted side blend very well together.
