Dalwood Estate Chardonnay grows in sandy loam soil on the south bank of the Hunter River. The 2023 vintage was warm with plentiful rainfall in preceding winter and spring. The fruit was picked in early February and is exotic with ripe flavours of peach and melon, and a creamy palate with well-integrated oak.
