A blend of Shiraz and Malbec with maturation taking place in French oak barrels for a period of 12-15 months. Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe black cherry and liquorice scents are married to scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered dried meat notes. Rich, opulent black cherry and liquorice fruits drive the weighty palate with notions of scorched earth, dried meats, vanillin cedar and peppered herbs lying underneath. Ripe chewy tannins with a robust feel to the long generously fruited conclusion.
