Clos Guillot is made from a long parcel located on the south-south-east facing limestone slope, with high levels of clay higher up and yellow tufa lower down. With a refinement rarely found, it has aromas of sour cherry and black fruits, sometimes lending a gentle Pinot Noir flavour to this iconic wine. This Clos Guillot vintage from Bernard Baudry is heady for its floral complexity, notes of ripe raspberry, graphite and wild plants.
