The domaine vineyard holdings lie partly within the Château-Chalone sub-AOC, each one delivering its own particular expression of the Chardonnay and/or Savagnin grapes. The La Vouivre is a vineyard blend of the domaine's four named parcels - En Beaumont, Le Calvaire, En Lya, and Trémoulette. The composition is 70% Chardonnay and 30% Savagnin. All the wines of Domaine des Carlines are aged 12-15 months in barrel with spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
