Domaine des Carlines was founded in 2015 by a gang of three: Patrick Ligeron a native of Jura, François Rousset, grower and producer in Nevy sur Seille, near Chateau Chalon and Pierre Beuchet, founder of the Diva Network and owner of distillery in Pontarlier close to Jura. The opportunity came to them at the end of 2015 when 5ha of vines became available around Chateau Chalon and Ménétru-le-Vignoble with the first true vintage being produced in 2016 and was met with wonderfully high acclaim. Their vineyards are run via sustainable methods but with the target to convert into an organics in a few years’ time.

Attractive in colour with a bright ruby red colour and delicate orange hues. Very expressive on the nose with cherries, raspberries and strawberries with dried herbs and flowers. The palate is actually quite juicy and smooth with bright, vibrant flavours following the nose with characters of raspberries, strawberries and cherries and violet aromatics, and fine and soft tannins. Insatiable stuff!
