From vines located on light blue clay with no surface detritus, the 2020 Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre La Ronce has an exquisite, floral bouquet of blackberry and raspberry fruit infused with peony and violet scents. The palate is very well balanced with pliant tannins, superbly judged acidity and firm grip on the finish, counterbalanced by a lovely saline note that lingers in the mouth. Wonderful.
