Located in Savigny-lès-Beaune, north of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean-Michel Giboulot has 12 hectares of vines in the finest appellations (Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Savigny 1er Cru, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru, with a majority of Pinot Noir). The vines are organically grown. The vinification is traditional with little intervention from the winemaker, using stainless steel and wood, and controlled temperatures.

Masculine and structured, as a Pommard should be. The wine is already delicious, with notes of blackberry, blueberry, or gooseberry, cherry stone, plum, and blackberry. Maturity draws it to leather, chocolate, and pepper. Served with hearty poultry meals.
