Domaine Laurent Habrard Crozes Hermitage Saint Joeseph Sainte Epine 2019
Laurent Harbrad, a 5th generation winemaker, took over the Estate from his parents in 1998, and today oversees 15 hectares spread across Crozes-Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Hermitage. Certified Organic since 2011, Laurent Habrard has been working towards reducing the vineyard's environmental impact, often referring to organic conversion as a way of apologising to Mother Nature. The harvest is done exclusively by hand and Laurent picks grapes in small boxes to avoid oxidation.
The bouquet of Sainte Epine 2019 is rich, with macerated black cherries, kirsch, plum, and liquorice. Red wine with rich tannins and a glossy elegance. Long and in tune.
