Since its foundation in 1959, Domaine William Fèvre has become one of the biggest landowners in the region with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards and is often cited as a benchmark for quality and terroir expression. Vinification is very traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old).
Mont de Milieu is a Premier Cru vineyard with double exposure and therefore benefits from a higher average temperature and more sunshine, resulting in wines with great fruit intensity and body. From the superb 2018 vintage this is full-bodied and fleshy, with a rich core of citrus and orchard fruits, but is tempered by a fine thread of acidity and delicate chalky texture.
