Brouilly is the largest and furthest south of the Beaujolais crus and has a good southeastern exposure, at the bottom of the Saône Valley at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres. The subsoil consists of granite debris ancient alluvium, sand stones and blue- tinged schist. It’s a result of a traditional method and aged in concrete tank. The vinification is medium length in order to get some structure while preserving the freshness of the fruit.
