The fruit for this wine is predominantly sourced from 30 year old vines in the Thorn family Eden Valley vineyard, supplemented with two other unique Eden Valley blocks. The Barossa experienced a cool, dry winter with below average rainfall which was further compounded by extremely windy conditions leading to some poor fruit set and smaller berry size.
