Blend of two parcels - whole berry (partial cab mac) Cabernet Sauvignon and 100% whole bunch fermented Shiraz. Blended together before going into old wood (11 months). Was taken into barrel on a good amount of fermentation lees. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aromatic style, plenty of purple fruits. Mouth filling texture, without being heavy at all. In fact, the lees component, as well as the cab mac have made for a fruit forward flavoured, creamy textured wine, with a nice, bright finish. - Sam Hooper, Greenhouse Knight
