Gustavshof Puristica is a biodynamic, natural red wine made from Pinot Noir. The loess loam soils warm up very nicely and their high lime content underlines the varietal character of Pinot Noir. Puristica is allowed 12 months ,maturation in a mix of new/used french oak. Throughout this period, the wine remains unsulphured, matures in the peace and quiet of the red wine cellar and is then bottled unfiltered and gently, just as nature intended. The bouquet of this Natural Pinot Noir shows multi-faceted, fine nuances of forest fruits and on the palate it shows the classic elegance and finesse of the grape variety alongside ripe, tasty, crisp tannins.
