Our winery is situated in the building where the pioneer, Tom Craven established the regions mail service in 1850's. We craft this wine to be a quintessential Heathcote Shiraz, with 2% Viognier to give a richness and add softness. The old red Cambrian soils and climate make the region distinct in the Australian landscape. Made from a blend of grapes from our two vineyards, we use both French and American oak to make this wine truly definitive of the region we love. A rich Shiraz with a backbone of white pepper holding the brooding dark fruit together that flows seamlessly into a beautiful, lingering mocha finish.
