Pitch black in colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. A stinky mix of liquorice, graphite and funky sulphur like scents present themselves on the nose with some white pepper also present. Much cleaner on the palate with rich liquorice and spicy dark plum flavours overlaying lightly toasted vanillin cedar and peppered earth nuances. Ripe chewy tannins with a generous finish.
