This wine has an abundance of bright, light cherry fruit and mint aromas. This is the second year in a row that our Sangiovese has produced such pretty, lifted bright cheery and berry fruit characters. Sangiovese naturally has lovely delicate tannins (often called light and chalky by winemakers) which really help this light bodied wine linger and adds a savoury note. It’s that savoury dry finish that reminds you that Sangiovese is a great food wine: especially good with Italian food.
