"The 2021 Syrah Collezione Privata is a delicate, nuanced wine. After all these years, the Syrah has become quite Tuscan in personality. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice and rose petal open first. There’s lovely freshness and purity to the fruit, but also less Syrah character than in many previous editions. Even so, the 2021 is an elegant, captivating wine. I imagine it will age with grace."

The Tuscan Syrah Private Collection of Isole and Olena is born in vineyards located in the Florentine town of Barberino Val d'Elsa. It is produced exclusively from Syrah grapes, harvested and carefully selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, and for another 12 months in large barrels before being bottled.
