The most delicate of Prüm’s 2023 Kabinett trio, the Bernkasteler Badstube is all finesse and lift. This is the estate’s final site as you head upstream, where the slopes soften and the soils shallow out - giving wines that are light on their feet, gently floral, and quietly mineral.

The 2023 vintage plays right into the strengths of this vineyard. It was a long, cool season, and this Kabinett shows it: pure, racy and refreshingly transparent. There’s the usual soft crunch of acidity and a wash of citrus and white blossom, but this year also brings a little extra aromatic lift - blackcurrant leaf, green apple, and a touch of that classic Mosel herbal edge.

It’s a wine made for the table. Framed delicately enough for sushi or sashimi, but with enough tension and drive to handle spice, salt or anything from the sea. Beautiful now, but the structure says it’ll cruise past its 15th birthday without blinking.
