Fine, silky tannins, ripe red fruits, coffee beans and aromatic spices distinguish Tempranillo, and these characters are just what Landaire has captured. This wine is at the beginning of its drinking life; comfortably another ten years of age-worthiness which will reveal new layers of flavour. But right now the wine is packed with perfumed sweet spices: cloves, vanilla and cinnamon. The medium-bodied palate has a delightful, fine tannin-structure with deftly used French oak, red cherry and strawberry fruit.
