2021 vintage saw us produce some super fun wines to make, including a small batch Preservative Free Lambrusco Maestri from our Murray Darling vineyard.
There’s always a side project going on behind the scenes at Chalmers, and this one is a little beauty.

Classic ‘dry red’ palate. Bold, smooth dark fruit, balanced tannins and a earthy, supple finish. We’ve used the great natural acidity (and therefore pH) and the decent tannins of Lambrusco Maestri to assist in stabilising this wine to make it with no added sulphur in the winemaking process… Yummo!
