Roopa is a very dry, slightly savoury, skin contact Sauvignon Blanc that offers an intriguing tension between delicacy of fruit and the soft grip of tannins. There are plenty of layers here - wild peach, strawberry, bay leaves, orange pekoe tea and plenty of dried spices, like cinnamon and clove. Textural and gains power the more you swirl it around. Unusual and engaging, this is a lovely wine.
