A slightly shorter maceration for this year’s Crudo Shiraz resulted in a perfumed and sweet core of brambly berries and violet florals, balanced by a peppery whole-bunch spice and just the right amount of asphalt-like savoury reduction. A touch of dusty tannins adds wonderful texture and length to the finish.
